We went to the Waco zoo, and it was right before feeding time. This Lion was roaring so loudly, it was creepy to think that it was only glass between him and us. It was the coolest thing.

Both of my parents have their birthday in October. We got to celebrate Dad's and be there for my Mom's.

Jonny and his princess Emma

My twin brother Jonny has a little girl named Emma. She is 5 years old, and was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes a little over a year ago. Please check out their family blog and read what Emma and her family go through. They are raising money for a cure. Even if you can't donate, read about it. Become a little more informed in case it happens to you or someone you know. I promise you, you will be in awe of little Emma. I know I am. Knowing what Amanda and Jonny do as parents makes me feel daunted for them. That just isnt even the word for it. Katie just had her first ballet recital. She did so well, we were so proud of her. She wasn't afraid at all to go on stage. I don't know who had more fun...me watching or her dancing. We love you, Katie!!!

Trip to Arizona

I went to Scottsdale to visit one of my best friends from high school, Tippy. I had so much fun!! I couldn't believe how beautiful and HOT it was there. Average temp was like 110!! Despite the heat, there were so many beautiful flowers. Tippy usually comes to visit me during her spring break, but this year she flew me out there. We ate A LOT and basically just hung out. Perfect vacation. Thanks Tip!!

Ana ( her newest baby) they rescued her from a puppy mill, where she spent the first three years in a cage having puppies. She didn't set foot on ground until she was freed. She is the sweetest little girl.

CONGRATULATIONS KATIE!!!

Katie's "continuation" celebration was today. Tomorrow is her last day of Kindergarten. I can't believe this year is over, it went by so fast!! Katie loved school, and her wonderful teacher. Mrs. Varner continuosly told us how sweet Katie was, and what a good girl she was. Hello!!! Of course she is!! I am so proud of Katie. I am sad at how fast she is growing up, but it sure is fun knowing this girl.

He lived around the corner and would bring Katie home from school. He is moving and we are so sad. She keeps trying to tell us he is her boyfriend. But she only says it when he is over playing. I don't think she knows what it means. They are pretty cute together.
