Captain Volcansek
(cowboy at heart)

This is my brother Fred. He is leaving tonight to go to Afghanistan for 8 months. He is a C-130 pilot for the Marines, and this will be his second time being deployed. I am so proud of my brother and love him so much. He is the most talented musician I know, and can play like 10 different instruments. He always makes every family get together more fun, just by being there. He is stationed in North Carolina, but I have been able to see a lot of him in the past two years. I have gotten to know him as an adult, (as much as you can call him that) and am a better person for it. I love you Fred, and will miss you. Thank you for serving our country!!!!

Just a funny side note, Fred really is a cowboy at heart. He even mows his lawn in cowboy boots!!!

Some pictures from today...

Today was definately a lesson learned about where to go and what to get for pictures. It was the first time I've ever taken Isaac, I have always done my own. He went right in there and hammed it up. Katie climbed into my lap and buried her head in my shoulder for the first 15 minutes. She finally came around and was her adorable self. It's amazing how different they are personality wise. Katie will open up, but in her own time. Isaac has no issues opening right up. They are also always kissing and hugging, they really love each other.

Eight years ago.....

Eight years ago, Adam and I were married in Bountiful, Utah. One year later we were sealed in the Denver temple. I am so blessed to have my best friend as my husband.

Sometimes at night they play so cute and quiet. I love these nights. Isaac is always playing with his cars, and katie with whatever she is in the mood for. I love listening to their pretend dialogue.
