This is my brother Fred. He is leaving tonight to go to Afghanistan for 8 months. He is a C-130 pilot for the Marines, and this will be his second time being deployed. I am so proud of my brother and love him so much. He is the most talented musician I know, and can play like 10 different instruments. He always makes every family get together more fun, just by being there. He is stationed in North Carolina, but I have been able to see a lot of him in the past two years. I have gotten to know him as an adult, (as much as you can call him that) and am a better person for it. I love you Fred, and will miss you. Thank you for serving our country!!!!
Just a funny side note, Fred really is a cowboy at heart. He even mows his lawn in cowboy boots!!!

I am completely blown away. thanks so much for the kind words. I can't tell you how much all of you mean to me. I love and miss you all and can't wait to get back home. I'm in Kyrgyzstan right now, a former soviet republic. Look it up online, it is a very interesting place. I'll be going to afghanistan later today. I'll write when I get a chance.
