Farewell to Derek!!

Little Derek is all grown up, and on his way to culinary school. We had a barbecue on Saturday to celebrate him. I remember the first time I met Derek when Adam and I were dating. He had slept over at Larry and Irene's and challenged me to a game of memory. He totally kicked my but. I mean, there was no contest at all. He has always been so sweet and loving. Always ready with a hug and a smile. We are so blessed to have Derek. We love him so much and will miss him.

Larry and Irene bought the coolest slide!! Jill and Betty were here this week, so this is what we did every day. We had so much fun!! (so did the kids, ha ha) It is so much fun to get together like this as a family.

Father's Day

I married the most wonderful man in the world. He is truely my best friend. He is kind, compassionate, thoughtful, loving, funny, smart and many more things. He is always making me laugh, and goes out of his way to make me feel special. Our kids love and adore him. This statement is so generic, but he is such a good Dad. He reads to them, plays with them, gets up in the night with them. Although he does always seem to get them all riled up right before bed. He loves to cuddle with them, and hold their chubby feet. When Katie was a baby I was paranoid about her getting cold. I always had socks on her feet, but if we were all in bed together, Adam would pull them off to hold her toes. I love seeing them face to face cuddling. He is so tender and sweet. We are blessed to have him as a father and husband. We love you Adam, and appreciate all you do for us. Thank you!!!

Happy Birthday David and Matthew!!!

This is my big brother David. Today he shares a birthday with little Matthew. I don't have a picture of little Matthew, but he is adorable and has red hair just like Katie. Everyone loves David. He is kind, considerate and the best Dad. I love you David!! I love you Matthew!!

Happy Birthday Grandma!!

Irene's birthday was yesterday, and we celebrated it with all the girls at Grand Luxe.

(my favorite!!!) We had a blast, and ate a lot! I forgot my camera, but this is my favorite picture of Isaac and her. Isaac and Katie LOVE their Grandma! They are always running to give her hugs when they see her. We love you Grandma!!!
