Here are some pictures of the past few weeks.

Katie and Isaac discovered showers.

They totally clean my shower for me, or at least think that they are.

Katie and I had a dress a full on dress up tea party last Sunday. She was putting lipstick on me.

Whenever I want to take a picture of Katie, she wants to do some kind of twisty thing.

Isaac is so stinking cute, I could just eat his chubby little cheeks.

I have been trying to download these pictures for a while now, so here we are.
Early morning conversations...

My kids like to get up early and climb into bed with me. Adam is gone 4 days a week, but when he is home it's his favorite. I love it too, they are so snuggly and sweet. Katie comes in around four, and Isaac around five. This morning, it was 6:00 when Isaac joined me and Katie. She woke up and the first thing she did was scoot over, put her arm around him and say, "Good morning Isaac." She looked at him and says, "open your eyes, I think you have sleepy rocks in them. Oh, nope you don't. But I do. I always get sleepy rocks. Mom your fingers are too big and mine are little and I can get them. " She is always pointing out how big I am compared to her. Especially specifics, like my nose, bum, and even my nipples. Yes I did just put that. But they are just a body part too. Except she calls them "hippos". Umm... she said something else too, but now I can't remember. I need to get one of those notebooks Jenn, so I can write it down right away. I love early morning snuggles, even if Isaac likes to kick me in the stomache. He is really just stretching, but it hurts!! I love the way they look too. Isaac still has that sleepy look, but it's just not the same without the crazy hair. Even their breath is sweet. I know that I am biased, but it's true. I really am lucky to get to stay home with my kids. I treasure all of the little moments like these. I love Adam for working so hard, and making it possible for me to do this.

a buzz..

Isaac's favorite toy at Janeen's

Adam has been wanting to give Isaac a buzz since we grew out his last one. I loved his long hair, but gave in because hair does grow back. These are some before and after shots at Janeen's. Also, the lunch box is Isaac's favorite toy, largely because it is full of cars. When Janeen lived at Grandma's, Isaac knew right where it was, and always played with it. When they moved out Isaac went looking for it. He came out of the room and was all upset asking where his cars were. When we got to Janeen's tonight and showed it to him, he was so excited. He was bringing it downstairs to show Adam. He is such a cute kid. He really does love his cars. I even like the buzz.

not a great picture but, oh well

So, we went to Park Meadows today to see the Easter Bunny. The kids were so good waiting in line. Katie kept telling me before we went that she wasn't going to be shy. And she wasn't! She said thank you for the candy and even gave him five. Isaac just looked at him like he was an idiot. It was pretty funny. They are pretty excited for Sunday. I have to admit, so am I.

We love you Jenn!!!

So, we have chuch at 9:00 now, and this has been really hard for Katie. Every Sunday she has cried and cried not wanting to get dressed. She always says,"I just want to stay home and hang out." Now since hanging out at home is my favorite thing to do, I can relate. I also have a hard time going to church. Adam has meetings in the morning and I get the kids there myself. Getting up and going has always been one of my "challenges". Nevertheless I have been doing it. I have had to physically hold her down and dress her. Katie is normally a very mellow little girl and this has been so out of character. A few weeks ago Jenn gave me some advice. On Saturday we talk about how church is the next day, and we will have to get up and get ready. All day I am reminding her. We pick out her clothes together that night and get the church bag all ready as well. For two weeks now Sundays have been a breeze, Katie has been an angel. I was almost in tears last week telling Jenn about it, and thanking her. She is such a life saver. This is just one of the many examples of how great Jenn is. She has been the best friend a girl could ask for. She is always willing to help and give 110% of her time and effort. She loves my children, and they love her. I love you Jenn, and thank you for all you do. Happy Birthday!!!!

ice cream buddies

We finally got stools for our bar and the kids love to eat, play and just sit there. It is amazing how little it takes to make them happy. Katie started asking for ice cream at eight this morning. We put her off until after lunch and Adam was more than happy to join her.
